I’m on the road quite a bit this week for client home visits (it’s spring break at my clinic, so all my therapy sessions are home visits). I’m getting through this grey day with some amazing tunes. Here’s what’s on my iPod today:

1.) Elbow’s “my sad captains” –this tune is such an amazing ballad, I seriously can’t get enough of it!! I caved and bought tickets through stub hub (boo stub hub–electronic scalper) so I’ll be seeing them in Vancouver in late May, yay!!!!

2.) St. Vincent’s “severed fingers” — I totally have a girl crush on her!! So many songs on this album that are great, but this one gets me every time!

3.) Lucious’ “wildewoman” — Okay, this one just makes me want roll down the windows (even when it’s raining) and sing along at the top of my lungs!!! I’m sad I missed their show a couple months ago, but I’ll definitely be at the next one!

4.) The Avett Brother’s “Murder in the City” — This is one of the many sad love songs that I’m tragically obsessed with. My favorite line is, “Always remember there is nothing worth sharing like the love that let us share our name.” It gets me thinking about Dave and our wedding, which I’m so utterly excited for!!

I hope this list adds to your musical enjoyment for the week!

Be well
